The Bad Girls Club

This show airs every Tuesday at 10pm here. They always show the previous episodes in the 8pm & 9pm slot before showing the latest episode and I am right there to watch it. Now my younger (little) brother was the one that turned me on to this show. It is like a brother bonding/QT thing for us.

***NOTE*** This is not the only one we watch together.

We watched last nights episode and I could not help but to think about some things…

1. Do these ladies have some serious issues or what?
2. Does the show offer any kind of counseling after the season is over?
3. How much do they get paid to expose there personal life issues on TV?
4. How much liquor do they actually drink per episode?
5. What the hell is a BAD GIRL?

Now we watch the show as an entertainment/teaching tool. And I must admit I am learning more rather than being entertained. So far I am learning one big thing…ANYBODY WILL DO ANYTHING TO BE SEEN ON TV. Meanwhile the stations and companies a pulling in lots of bucks for exploitation. That’s right I said EXPLOITATION!!! Face it…these ladies are FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition) and as much as they don’t care (or at least act like) about getting it together, neither do the stations. I mean really they drink, party, fuss, and fight every episode.

And what makes it even more of a spectacle is that the company provides the alcohol to keep them doing this. I guess the vibrators are a perk…huh? One thing is proven to be a fact out of this and that is YOU CAN’T PUT WOMAN IN THE SAME PLACE LIKE THAT FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME!!! Allow me to give my thoughts on each cast member from a guy’s perspective:

Natalie-A spunky self-proclaimed socialite, Natalie enjoys cruising in her sugar daddies’ expensive cars and painting the town red with her cool celebrity friends. With a degree in Sociology, Natalie operates her own fashion boutique in Northern California. This flamboyant rebel proclaims to “run LA.” (As described on the Oxygen website)

My view-She is a little girl who has not had her assed whooped by her parents apparently. She is loud and young. I mean obnoxiously loud!!! The only thing remotely attractive about her are her eyes (if they are real). The most unattractive thing is her chin. Is it me or is her chin long. I wonder why she hasn’t gotten that fixed since she is supposed to be the “QUEEN BEE” of L.A.. Overall-I wouldn’t send my arch nemesis in her direction. She needs her ass whooped 1 GOOD TIME…NO DOUBT!!!

Amber-A true rags-to-riches story, Amber is a beer drinking girl next door from Morgantown, WV, who aspires to be a personal trainer. Known as “the backstabber,” Amber’s scheming nature makes her a pro at pulling sneaky pranks. (As described on the Oxygen website)

My View-This is the best West Virginia has to offer as a representative? She is definately a candidate for a “Girls Gone Wild” video in my eyes. And I am sure if the offer was right she would jump right on it. This probably the only time she has ever looked this glamorous. I can see her in jeans and a WV sweatshirt 98% of the time. Overall-Exsposing her to a life outside of WV might be a bad thing to do but she may have GOOD GIRL potential if given the right situation.

Annie-Her sweet innocent demeanor is a cover for her bad behavior. A true Jekyll and  Hyde character from Valencia, CA, Annie works as a phone sex operator at night while pursuing her MBA in marketing in the day. She’s a control freak with a life goal of bodily perfection.

My view-WTF!?!? I mean seriously…she is far from BAD GIRL material. Even when she tries to be bad she fucks that up. I remember her saying she has been a toy for married men more than anything when it comes to relationships. She is TRULY sheltered and naive as all out doors. She is out of her element being in this house. Overall-Very gullible. Even though she may be book smart, she has much to learn about REAL LIFE.

Kate-As the daughter of a prominent former politician in Gloucester, MA, Kate grew accustomed to life in the spotlight. Pursuing her degree at Boston College, Kate has traded in her small town ways to live life in the fast lane. This spoiled school girl is making sure all eyes are on her whatever it takes.

My views-On last night’s episode we were introduced to her boyfriend. That interaction showed her softer side. She has some good qualities. I like the fact that she is finally standing up for herself. Being the daughter of a politician I am sure she has high standards for a mate. Overall-Pretty cool lady as long as you don’t rub her the wrong way.

Kendra-Kendra’s a boy crazy, rule breaking opposite of her perfect and obedient twin sister. She’s also a pretty pageant girl from Charlotte, NC, pursuing a degree in political science.

My view-Now this one is FUBAR to the MAX!!! She has been punched in the face by Natalie and has made no bones about her love for money. In my hood she would be called a FREAK!!! She is the true example of the reason our young black woman get NO RESPECT from our men. She too is a little girl trying to be something she is not ready to be…A REAL WOMAN! She represents what is wrong with today’s young ladies. Overall-Not even if I was drunk would I give her the time of day.

Lexie-Known as “Sexy Lexie, ” she is a self-described “Barbie,” complete with blonde hair and blue eyes. An Army brat, Lexie has lived everywhere from Germany to Kentucky. Along the way, she has acquired a tendency to combat authority and become a strong independent woman. She lives by her own rules and likes to manipulate people for her own gain.

My view-She got some black in her family with an ass like that! She is the newest one to the group so the jury is still out on her. But she does come across as a free spirit. Overall-From what I have seen of her on the show she has some nice qualities.

Portia-Sugar and spice epitomized, Portia’s notable characteristics include vindictive behavior, a sharp tongue and a “try anything once” mentality. Urban living and a painful adolescence in Columbia, MO toughened Portia’s skin.

My view-Now this sister is BADD. I don’t think she should have been taken off of the show because in many ways she was actually one of the more mature ones there. Very even keeled and understanding. I admired the fact that she represented single-motherhood in a very good light. She represented the positive of overcoming tough situations. I really felt bad for her when her relationship issues surfaced. The only thing I wasn’t feeling was her hair. Overall-She gets my vote and if I was single she would be a lady I would want to get to know.

Flo-With her tough talking, “born to be bad” style, this bisexual party girl refuses to be the Albanian Muslim ideal of a passive, obedient female her family would hope for. Staten-Island girl Florina always encourages women to stand up for themselves and is prepared to fight for the underdog at the drop of a hat.

My view-OMG!!! She is so freakin HOTT!!! She has the looks, the style, and class. From the minute she walked through the door on the show I was hooked. I love her RIDE or DIE nature. She has tried to befriend everyone in the house and brings a “No cut card” reality based attitude to the show. These chicks should recognize and respect someone like her and they could learn a lot. Overall-I WOULD HAVE HER BABY IF SHE ASKED ME!!!!

All in all the show is really interesting. I just think it is sad that woman put themselves in positions like this just to achieve or make it in this world. It is also sad that the stations are not held more accountable if one of their lives ends up worse than what it was before they come on. As for a recommendation to watch…If you are a guy that wants to learn more about woman…yes definately watch! If you are a woman that wants to see how you look when you get catty…definately watch. But I would not let someone under 18 watch the show.
